TIO REGULATION IN TURKEY

The Regulation for Freight Forwarders, which was prepared by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for the purpose of reducing the number of the authorization certificates for freight forwarders to one single certificate, as well as determining the service principles and conditions, was published in the Official Gazette no.30470 and dated July 6, 2018.

The applications for the authorization certificate issued by the Regulation for Freight Forwarders, which entered the terminology of the logistics sector as TIO Regulation in Turkish, started to be received as of July 1, 2019. And as we, ARMADA DENIZCILIK LOJISTIK HIZMETLERI VE TIC. LTD. STI. (ARMADA SHIPPING LOGISTICS SERVICES AND TRADING LTD. CO.) received our TIO (Freight Forwarding) certificate and number is IST.U-NET.TIO.34.233.

We recommend all exporters, importers, subcontractors, agents to work with only TIO owners in Turkey.
